Working with Stainless has its challenges if you don't work with it all the time. Going back to fundamentals is so important
1. Keep the workshop clean so that you don't get cross contamination with Mild steel filings
2. Don't use a linisher belt or grinding disc thats been used on mild steel
3. Keep your drills sharp and reduce cutting speeds
4. Use lubricate and coolant
5.Remember when welding stainless RHS ...it will pull...a lot
This uncoil-er frame with auto tracking for the Pharmaceutical industry was such a great and challenging project.
