Design and build...onsite

One of the requests I enjoyed when I was on the tools was the opportunity to be create,

design and manufacture a component onsite....It happens for a myriad of reasons. Something had

been forgotten in the planning stage, a last minute change or correction, or simply there was no

time to have drawings made.

The concept of visualising the finished product and creating it with materials you have on

hand can be quiet daunting yet incredibly rewarding. A skill that is common with builders more

than in our trade.

It was refreshing to see the boys resurrect these skills as part of this recent installation.
